Investigated how to use short-dated futures to hedge long-dated commitments given a fixed Risk-Free rate.
Derived the Black-Scholes formula to show that it agrees with numerical approximations in several ways. Also investigated how the Black-Scholes model compares with the Binomial model.
Worked on project which involves allocation of funds on risky and non-risky assets.
Worked on project for pricing insurance company’s appropriate collateral and premium based on loss forecasting.
Worked on a time series model and estimated the best ARIMA model that best fits that data using MATLAB R2014a.

1)Data Analyst - A&S Appraisals, NY Feb 2005 – Dec 2012
A&S Appraisals is one of the leading home inspection and appraisal reporting data providers in NY, NJ and CT areas. Did Data Analysis on Real estate appraisal systems.
Responsibilities:
Preparing appraisal reports for both commercial and residential properties.
Collecting data from Inspection team, loading and running the files.
Querying and generating reports for various client agencies according to their needs.
Using Excel and Wintotal for forecasting and generating reports.
Estimating realistic property values based on state controls and regulations.
2)Research Assistant - UNC Charlotte, May 2014-Aug 2014
Worked as a Research assistant for a project to study Risk management in a confidential medical insurance company. The project was in the UNC Charlotte department of Risk Management and Insurance. Stress is more on medical malpractice, insurance regulations and insurer solvency.
Responsibilities:
Formatting and sanitization of actuarial data for above mentioned medical insurance client.
Verifying data of insurance claims.
Prepared reports with pivot tables, PI charts and bar charts in MS Excel.
