IDI application is used to maintain Individual Disability products of MetLife. It is basically classified into two parts namely MUST (Modern Underwriting System Technology) and MAST (Modern Administration System Technology). MUST is used to perform underwriting for IDI products. Once the policy is issued successfully from MUST, then it is maintained by MAST system throughout its life. The functionalities included in MAST are calculating premiums, updating of policy holder information, adding new riders to the policy etc. These both systems are referred together as M – System.
