Description:

FastCar application was built on top of i2 SRM and provides analytical tools for global vehicle components and integration with product development and procurement systems. The solution provides information, processes, workflows and analytical tools to better enable part reuse, improved target setting abilities, improved communication and co-ordination between product and component teams and others as well as accelerated data analysis for current and future initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Implemented/enhanced a few uses cases using J2EE technologies. That includes writing XSL templates, web-tier controller classes, business logic and data access classes.

Implemented UI components using custom JSP tags, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML.

VWMS is a mission-critical enterprise application aimed at automating the spring selection process by accurately calculating the corner weights of a vehicle as it comes off the production line and matching it with the spring tables to select the correct spring.

Responsibilities:

Implement business and application logic using J2EE based distributed architecture, providing the users with comfortable Java-Swing based GUI conforming to the organization’s user interface guidelines and complying with the organization’s software engineering process.

Write Hibernate XML configuration files for object-relational mapping and develop Hibernate POJO classes.

Interface with end users and perform application support.

Evaluate and define software testing methods, write test cases and perform functional and regression testing.
