Record facts to prepare reports that document incidents and activities

Review facts of incidents to determine if criminal act or statute violations were involved

Monitor, note, report, and investigate suspicious persons and situations, safety hazards, and unusual or illegal activity in patrol area

Issue citations or warnings to violators of motor vehicle ordinances

Detention Officer

Dallas County, Dallas, TX 02/2008 to 04/2013 – 40/week

Performing initial physical search and inventory of all personal and unauthorized items

Supervising and monitoring all movements and activities throughout the facility

Escorting inmates throughout facility to nurses’ station, attorney visits, parole, chaplain and housing locations

Maintaining full custody, care and control of inmates at all times.

Conducting security checks and equipments in order to provide a safe, secure facility for inmates, officers and other employees.

Process prisoners, and prepare and maintain records of prisoner bookings and prisoner status during booking and pre-trial process

Maintenance Supervisor

U.S. Army, Fort Benning, GA 07/2002 to 07/2005

Supervising and training soldiers on all equipment and vehicles within the motorpool according to army standards.

Maintaining full accountability of equipment and personnel assigned to me.
