PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Clinical Lab Instructor Eastwick College, Hackensack NJ August 2009 - July 2015 School of Business/Medical Sciences $14.42 an hour As a lab instructor I prepared students with the skills to work aside Doctors and medical staff in any type of specialty. Hands on training of vital signs, biometrics, Phlebotomy, EKG, first aid, wound care, and patient care. I gave them a specialized course in CPR called Basic Life Support which is used in hospitals and all medical facilities. The students are taught OSHA/CLIA rules and regulations, bloodborne pathogen precaution, hazard communications, and Tuberculin treatment. Hemoglobin and glucose testing, by means of dermal puncture or venipuncture, and urine testing. I headed up Phlebotomy clinics allowing students to gather their sticks in order to qualify for phlebotomy review and certification. As well as lecturing on all the above subjects and RMA review for their medical assistant certification. I maintained the clinical lab supplies and inventory keeping them at working a level while also ordering.
