In my previous job as an department electrical engineer at the University General Hospital "Attikon" and in my present job as an chief electrical engineer I have achieved:

• savings of electricity consumption by approximately 20%. This was implemented after the study and proposal I made to the hospital management personnel to change the contract power billing by the provider of electricity to match the characteristics of the electric charge of each hospital,

• the best prices for the supply of material and services for the tenders,

• implementation of all the projects that are given to me before the deadline with 100% success rate.

Responsibilities: Position of Chief Electrical Engineer – Head of the Department of Electromechanical facilities at the Engineering Department of Kavala General Hospital (450 beds, 35,000m2 surface) and of the regional providers of Health Care services (Health Care Centres of Eleftheroupolis, Chrysoupolis, Prinos, Thassos, etc.), with a scope of work that includes the following: engineer in charge (24 hours a day, 365 days a year) for operation and maintenance a) of High Voltage (HV) electrical facilities (network AC 230V, network 20kV, 3.75MW power, generating sets (generators) 2x630kVA, UPS of 2x60kVA power, etc.) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical facilities (BMS, call centre and hotline network, public address centre, audiovisual auditorium equipment, DATA network, TV network, fire detection, pneumatic tube system, nurse calling system, wireless paging system, etc.), b) of sanitation facilities with all pumping hoisting tackles for sewage, c) water facilities with water pumping equipment, d) central cooling facilities of 1MW power, e) of central heating, warm water and steam production facilities of 1MW power. I joined a group that managed the complete relocation of patients, medical and other equipment and services from the old to the new building at July 2010. 01 April 2008- onwards: Regular associate of a Technical Office for electromechanical studies in Kavala, with a scope of work that includes the following: I prepare studies and draw up designs for electromechanical facilities for High Voltage (HV) (AC 230V, 50Hz, 20kV, etc.) and Low Voltage (LV) (telephones, DATA, terrestrial and satellite television, CCTV, alarm, KNX, BMS, fire detection, etc.), lighting studies with DIALUX software, water and sewage facilities, fire insurance, fire fighting, lift, heating and cooling installations, installations in residential, commercial, health buildings, hotels, etc.. I prepare studies and draw up designs for energy efficiency and energy inspection for buildings with computer software (fine 10NG adapt f-calc - technical software for calculation of electromechanical facilities, Gcad and KENAK - technical software for energy efficiency studies and energy inspection for buildings). I prepare studies for VRV cooling systems through programmes of TOSHIBA, CARRIER, MITSUBISHI companies. I compose technical specifications and budget for auctioning of public and private projects with ERGA NG (4M) computer software.
