Responsibilities include manually developing programs and programming for Daewoo lathes with Mitsubishi controls and Haas CNC lathes. Current duties also consist of setting up and programming five CNC lathes for first part inspection before operators begin jobs. Operating two lathes while setting up and programming other machines. Develop part programs by using Auto Cad when needed. Materials machined include 300 and 400 series stainless steel, copper, aluminum, 1018, 4140, cast iron, etc. Past experience setting up and operating 24 NCS lathe with G.E. 1050 control and making programs for other NCS lathes with Fanuc 5T control and G.E. 550 control. Three years of experience on manual engine lathe, in addition to two years of experience on Bridgeport mill, and experience grinding parts on O.D. grinder and surface grinder to close tolerance.
