Riker’s Island- Data Center Building - Upgrades to the power distribution system. Relocation of lighting systems, power distribution to general purpose receptacles, expansion to area which housed the data racks, and the relocation of a transformer outside the building with the necessary upgrades. Additional UPS was installed and the addition of a new emergency generator. Calculations were also done.

Riker’s Island- Mental Health Building- Replacement of old machinery with new electrical upgrades. Calculations were also done.

John F. Kennedy Airport (Various Buildings and Hangers) – PORT AUTHORITY – Installation of security system at Airport. Project included the laying down of conduit wire and routing fiber optic cable to the ACDTV cabinets for power to surveillance cameras. Cost estimates were also done.

Newark Airport (Various Buildings and Hangers) – PORT AUTHORITY- Installation of security systems at cabinets for power to surveillance cameras. New Receptacles, Emergency Power System

LaGuardia Airport (Various Buildings and Hangers) – PORT AUTHORITY- Installation of security cameras for main buildings and upgrades to hangers. Project included Emergency Power System, new receptacles, power distribution, etc. Working mostly with mid to high voltage power.

Orange County Airport- Installation of security cameras at various hangers. Project included power distribution, new receptacles, etc.

Managed problems encountered with customers & other vendors

(9/2005 – 9/2007) - Electrical Engineer – Washington Group International at New York City, NY

Planned the wiring for the breaker replacement (BTE and BTW) at each substation for CON EDISON. Breakers were replaced in preparation for more upcoming work being done to the substations. Each involved new circuitry design and new cables in trays.

Upgrades to load management panels of over 18 NYC substations. Project required the use of existing panels and terminal blocks and added new circuitry design and new relays for its reconnection for Con Edison.

Worked overtime and sometimes weekends just to meet the deadline.

(2/2005 –9/2005) - Electrical Engineer – (Contract) Bergmann Associates at Jersey City, NJ

Assisted in designing proper lighting for airport runways and taxiways for LaGuardia Airport.

Corrected the As-Builts for NEWARK Airport and was responsible for the installation of a temporary trailer in order to prepare for the upcoming work to expand the police desk area. The project required the relocation of the existing equipment and the reconnection of all systems to the temporary trailer.

Airport Switchhouse (Building) -Teterboro, NJ – Installation of a new generator and a new door along with a new fire alarms system and the relocation of panels.

Assisted the Sr. Electrical Engineer in the power system design for commercial and institutional facilities. Projects included design of lighting systems, power distribution to general purpose receptacles and various electrical equipment.

Projects also included the installation of a fire alarm system along with the coordination of the architectural and mechanical engineering teams.
