Duties include preparing workstations for use in 3 dimensional X-Ray equipment in a manufacturing environment.
This includes anticipating and ordering the number of workstations needed to carry out work orders for the week, unpacking the workstations and placing them on a power supply burn in rack, flashing the bios with propriety software, making necessary changes to the CMOS settings, setting up and flashing the SAS SCSI for raid based workstations, imaging the workstations with the appropriate operating systems for the particular system they are to be installed in, following testing procedures to insure dependable service after installation, and diagnosing/repairing anomalies found in pre-installation.
