Started out working nights 3 on 1 off schedule, after 4 months started rotating on days. After 9 months had the privilege of taking over the lead hand day supervisor position. My goal & attitude is to work 100% w/ relief & to always have a open mind on any task @ hand, keep the well bore clean / drilling to the right / equipment & personal on location as needed / minimize down time / location & personal prepped for the next step or steps, location & personal up to speed & on the same page to minimize confusion & time.

Management of a crew and conducting it in a safe, consistent and progressive team associated atmosphere.

Account for the rigs supplies and ordering of the parts and equipment needed to maintain proper maintenance on equipment.

Openly discussing current drilling situations with supervisors and crew on what may occur and what to look for to be alarmed.

Maintaining drilling status by consistently monitoring the down hole torque, pump P.S.I., differential psi. (If applicable), TPV, gain/loss, flow, change in formations due to R.O.P., etc.

Experience in 750 – 2,500 H.P., cyber/conventional and SCR systems. Kelley and top drive systems. Catheads, hydraulic systems and various versions of air/hydraulic/manual slips, ST- 80’s and tongs. Turbines, various directional packages, air drilling, black box and Intelliserve equipment. vertical and horizontal wells. Record/Book Keeping of the pipe tally in the hole and out of the hole. Record the footage drilled, complications and bit information on Pason, Totco and pipe tally books. Deviation surveys and the B.H.A. assembly as well.
