DETAILS OF PROJECT HANDLING IN M.TECH

Project Title: “EAACK – TO OVERCOME FROM INTRUDERS ATTACKS IN MANET’S BY PROVIDING SECURITY CHECKS“

Details:

The platform of this project is secure computing project.

In this project we study about intruders attacks in Manets. Here we propose and implement a new intrusion-detection system named as Enhanced Adaptive ACKnowledgement (EAACK).

EAACK is an acknowledgement based scheme.

Hence it is extremely important to ensure that all acknowledgement packets in EAACK are authentic and untainted.

In order to ensure that all the acknowledgement packets in EAACK are authentic and untained, the packets should be digitally signed.

EAACK requires all acknowledgement packets to be digitally signed before they are sent out and verified until they are accepted by using digital signature.

In this project, the goal is to find the most optimal solution by using digital signature in Manets.

Language and Database: Java as programming language and SQL Server as database.

Duration: 1 Year.

DETAILS OF PROJECT HANDLED IN B.TECH

Project Title: “A DYNAMIC EN-ROUTE FILTERING SCHEME FOR DATA REPORTING IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS”

Details:

In wireless sensor networks, adversaries can inject false data reports via compromised nodes and launch Denial of Service attacks.

In this paper, we propose a dynamic en-route filtering scheme that addresses both false report injection and Denial of Service attacks in wireless sensor networks.

Here false data injection is detected with secret information and it is authenticated using MAC (Message Authentication Codes).

In addition Hill Climbing approach is used to disseminate the secret keys in Sensor nodes.

Duration: 2 months.
