Objectives

I am looking for something that will not conflict too much with my school schedule and family life. I want to work someplace that I can enjoy, and can do the very best I can to make my job, and everyone else’s, a little easier. We recently just leased a property at Candlewood Lake, and thought the opportunity to work so close to home irresistible.

Correctional Officer

As a dorm officer, I was responsible for keeping my log book up to date and legible, using the internal system to input conduct reports, and fill out proper paperwork for any unusual incidents that occurred.

As the Control officer, I was in charge of answering a multi-line phone, directing calls, filling out and filing proper paperwork, and using the computer based door system along with intercoms and loud speakers.

Being a Correctional Officer required patience, people skills and good written and oral communication skills. I also had to prioritize and multitask paperwork and situations.
