• Extending the CYK Algorithm to a 2D HP Lattice Model to Predict Context-sensitive structures based on Protein Structure Prediction - The program takes a protein sequence as input and the output is that it finds the maximum H-H bonds in a given sequence. Populate the table by constructing the formations based on established formations.The program goes through each diagonal of the table and populates from top left to bottom right. Languages: Java.
• Performance Comparison between HBase and MySQL - This project involved the performance comparison of HBase and MySQL databases.

• Depressive Analysis of Suicide Notes - This project involved taking a dataset of 40 suicide notes from the World Wide Web and were used for depressive analysis. First, stop words were removed by preprocessing the text. Bigrams were extracted from the preprocessed dataset. Manual annotation of bigrams was done. Unigrams were extracted. Emotions were assigned to unigrams and bigrams. Total count of each emotion was calculated. After plotting results in a graph, the conclusion was that, in suicide notes, emotions like fear, sadness and anger were more prominent. SKILLS / STRENGTHS
