3/15 –6/15 Apex Systems

Site Surveyor Responsible for driving around to different sites within the Houston area to perform site surveys. Surveys consist of using Google Nexus 9 to fill in survey information such as pole/ tag numbers, GPS information. Take site photos of target location, pole location, obstruction. Measure pole to target location using range finder. Locate possible alternate pole location and/ or plant extension comments.

3/14 – 2/15 PCS-CTS (contract through Atterro)

Flat Panel Display Tester Verify that refurbished Dell monitors pass cosmetic, mechanical and functional tests. Serve in the areas of Quick Test, Burn In and Final Test. Also, harvest useful parts from damaged monitors to be used for repair.

4/08 – 3/13 Hewlett Packard (contract through Modis)

Software Tester With SCCM group, tested SSM and BCU utilities on Windows 7 and Windows 8. Verified changes made using the utilities. Worked on various notebooks, desktops, all-in-ones and workstations. Reported test results and errors. Testing in Thin Client Lab. Responsible for testing applications on a Linux platform, also tested on Windows. Testing in assigned functional areas according to established test plans and schedules. Configured desktop computer hardware, software and firmware as required for testing. Involved in defect finding & trouble shooting, reporting and verification, suggesting root causes & reporting test results.

Problem Resolution Rep II Provide technical support for Yahoo’s customers with web hosting and merchant solutions accounts. Identify and document problems with those accounts. Migration Technician Format hard drives and configure settings to meet the company’s specifications. Transfer data from user’s old hard drive to a new hard drive. Archive old hard drives. Download requested software from company’s network and install to user’s desktop or laptop. Pick up and deliver the user’s desktop.

11/00-10/01 Dynegy (contract through Double Precision Computer Services)

Software Tester Test the interface of the ROCKET system. Write test cases for interface between applications. Store test cases and document test results using Test Director. Report all errors using PVCS Tracker. Perform regression tests. Assist in system tests. Provide weekly reports of the progress of the project.

3/00-9/00 Dynegy (contract through Double Precision Computer Services)

Software Tester Test the functionality of the common systems applications, Counterparty, Contracts and Credit. Write test cases for software functionality. Report all errors. Perform regression testing on known errors. Report the status of testing progress. Document the testing process, including test plans, test cases, errors, and screenshots. Give some technical and software support and some software installation.
