7/11 – Present Pall Filter Specialists, Michigan City, IN

Filter Specialists the subsidiary of parent company Pall Corporation which has sales of $2 billion and is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of industrial filtration products and solutions. FSI has operations in United States, Brazil, China, Germany, UK, and Mexico. Also Quality supports our sales offices in Dubai, India, Korea, France, and Italy. FSI extrudes fiber, needles felt, mold injects plastic components, sews/welds filter bags, and manufactures a complete cartridge line. In addition, we engineer and fabricate various metal ASME-code filter housings and equipment along with FDA and EU FCC certified products. Sales of this once private now public company are $153 million with 593 employees and 9 manufacturing locations worldwide.

7/11 – Present Director of Quality – Pall Filter Specialists (Michigan City, IN)

Achieved year over year continuous improvement reductions in internal scrap rates totaling $100k per year while also reducing the number of customer complaints year over year from an average of 40 “confirmed issues” in 2011 to just 15 in 2014. This reduction in quality issues equated to an overall DPPM rate of under 150 which borders world class. I received an ‘exceeding expectations’ rating for my performance review while also developing overall business processes and QMS to increase great customer and supplier relationships to ensure we are capturing the VOC (Voice of the Customer) and maintaining good quality raw materials to FSI facilities. Major customers for FSI include General Motors, Ford, Cargill, Dow-Chemical.

11/06 – 7/11 Emerson Power Transmission, Florence, KY

Emerson Power Transmission is the worldwide design and manufacturer of power transmission solutions. EPT makes various products such as bearings, conveying components, couplings, drive components, and gearing. Some of the daily operations at the facilities consisted of machining (turning, milling, drilling, boring, etc grinding, honing, heat treating, coating, broaching, gear hobbing, finishing and assembly. Sales of this publically traded company are $750 million with approximately 8,000 employees.

1/11 – 7/11 Quality Systems Manager – Emerson Power Transmission, Valparaiso, IN

As the corporate QMS manager is was responsible for the over management of the ISO certification for EPT which included 6 total manufacturing sites globally. This position supported the quality objectives under the direction of the Global Quality Manager for the Americas. Coordinating the customer requirements development process across the company to ensure total understanding of the voice of the customer which included the creation of PPAP’s, QMS procedures, etc. Also the main point of contact for customer issues and driving resolutions. With EPT being a multiple company acquisitions this position was tasked with aligning all different QMS and business practices related to ISO.

11/06 – 1/11 Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer – Emerson Power Transmission, Valparaiso, IN

Supported customer requirements as related to TS-16949 and ISO9001 which included the development of PPAP documentation and coordinating any change management with current product. Took on new product development involvement to ensure the Voice of the Customer (VOC) was captured and the appropriate risk assessments and procedures were in place to support the new product. Overall responsible for managing ISO certification to all 6 manufacturing sites within EPT which included, but not limited to managing the internal audit program, writing, maintaining, and distributing procedures related to the QMS.

8/03 – 11/06 Product Action International, Indianapolis, IN

Product Action International, LLC provides quality control services for the automotive industry in the United States and Canada. It offers sorting, inspection, rework, containment, yard hold management, engineering, and training services. The company has over 40 locations across the United States and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana with additional offices in the United States and Canada. Sales of this company are $125 million with approximately 3,500 employees in North America.

Location Supervisor (Project Manager) – Product Action International, Chicago, IL

Organized and directed a crew of automotive quality inspectors within the very fast paced OEM, Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing environment. The objective with this position was to evaluate the customer’s needs and recommend staffing levels and develop procedures for inspection and maintaining containment until the issue(s) could be resolved. This position was a on call 24hrs to address the current ongoing project and to ensure customer satisfaction criteria were being achieved.
