Cortex M based hardware for educational and prototyping purposes Hardware design, schematics and PCB layout of an Arduino style educational board based on STM32F407. The board is intended to work either standalone or as daughter board for Raspberry Pi. Can be powered from its own USB port or from RPi. It has Arduino compatible pinout and can accept compatible shields. Controller board for ice making machine

A simple non-isolated transformerless 8-bit PIC based controller for ice making machine. Design for manufacturability, testability, ease of maintenance and compatibility issues has been considered for this product. The board has been in production for 8 years.

Control cabinet for aluminium die-casting machine

Replacing old controls of a Czech made die-cast machine. PLC based controls handles working cycle of the machine including all safety considerations. It interfaces 96 I/O points including discrete, analog and PWM. A Schneider Electric Twido PLC and Magelis HMI has been used in this project. VFD Installation for salt mine - (70kW Armenia)

Installation, configuration and commissioning of a VFD for 70kW elevator in a salt mine used for transporting people and loads from surface to 235m underground. The VFD has been installed on a 1967 slip ring electric motor and is providing smooth and safe operation for the elevator. The customer is pleased with the huge electricity and mechanical wear savings. A 90kW Santerno Penta 0162 is used in this project.

BMS - LON Network using Johnson Controls Metasys

A floor BMS for a 3000m2 office. Based on LON network, includes around 90 nodes mostly thermostats and VAV actuators and some DDCs for IO interfacing to dampers and fire alarm system. Johnson Controls Metasys has been used. An NAE4520 as network engine that is programmed to control/manage the thermostats and VAVs, taking care of occupancy/unoccupancy setpoints for energy saving and reacting to fire or other emergency situations.
