WORK EXPERIENCE

Web Developer

Human Synergistics Incorporated - Mount Prospect, IL - April 2014 to Present Full-time position at Human Synergistics Incorporated working on two projects. First, I converted a paper survey product to mobile web-based solution. I created a Web ASP.NET C# WCF Service and multiple HTML5, JQuery clients using the Telerik Kendo toolkit. The server service code uses C#, an object-oriented design, and LINQ-to-SQL. Second, I converted the existing online survey desktop-based web product to a responsive/ mobile-supporting solution using JQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap. Contractor position at Chicago United creating and enhancing their web site Chicago United - Chicago, IL - November 2011 to Present I added new web products and maintained and enhance their existing VB.NET pages. One of my bigger work items was to recreate from HTMLs and DLLs, a management tool with heavy DB interaction using ASP.NET C# and LINQ-to-SQL (the original code-behind files were lost). I also upgraded their software to incorporate logging, error handling, and the replacement of HTML embedded with SQL with OO data classes interacting with the DB using ADO.NET.

SuvadaSoftware.com - Crystal Lake, IL - November 2009 to April 2014 Started my own web creation business- SuvadaSoftware.com. These sites use my skills in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and database design. These sites are built on my "Site You Can Manage" infrastructure. I created an easy to use text based interface that allows for clients to update their own web content. This infrastructure required expert skill in database storage and retrieval using ADO.NET of user- edited content, JavaScript functionality used to edit and retrieve user defined content and C# infrastructure code providing for the logic used in the editable content. Motorola Solutions - Schaumburg, IL - October 1987 to January 2006 at Motorola designing and writing management software for the cellular base station.

• Team leader and lead developer on project to re-write the Motorola Cellular Infrastructure O&M application software to use a new database server. This project entailed 2,100K total lines of C++ code (generated and hand-written) and 840 staff months of effort. Personally wrote approximately 40K lines of code.

• Primary technical integrator and contact for 3'rd party products. 3'rd party products include Persistence EdgeXtend for database middle ware, Iona Corba for inter-process communication and Informix for database server.

• Unprecedented - project managers equated me to two head count in feature release planning.

• Cited for exceptional ability to collaborate with numerous groups, including development groups operating overseas.

• Wrote, presented, and awarded for several technical papers at symposiums including "Large Software Porting and Redesign: Open MIB for Motorola's CDMA 1X" at SES 2002 which won a top presentation award and "OO Programming" for the 1992 AMT symposium which won "Best Paper Award".
