Joined team during manufacturing facility’s startup phase. Northwood facility produced instrument panels for DaimlerChrysler’s production of the Jeep Liberty. Developed training programs, and participated in the recruitment / interviewing process for a 70-member production shift. Provided leadership to 4 direct reports, and maintained dotted line responsibility for Materials, IT, Quality and Maintenance. Reported to the Plant Manager.
Consistently achieved production targets outperforming first shift operation. Set records benchmarking production numbers for the launch of a new product becoming shift leader.
