ASSA ABLOY is the largest lock manufacturer in the globe based out of Sweden. Its current ecommerce application is built over Sterling Commerce platform. This is a migration project from MCS platform to IBM WebSphere Commerce Server 7 which provides more robustness and yet flexible solution. This is an end-to-end development project which involved requirements, design, build, testing and implementation.

Description:

Tower Producer Administration System (TPAS) is an insurance based product. This Product has the ability to capture and maintain Agency information such as Appointment specifics (Dates/Writing Company/SBU), Locations/Personnel specifics, Financial/Billing information, Field Trip details, and Contract specifics. This system enables Tower Underwriting and Marketing staff to capture and maintain Agency data at not only at the Agency level, but at the Producer level as well. Users have the ability to search for Agencies/Producers by various means like Agency name and state, Exact Agency/Producer/Franchise code, browsing a list of producers delineated by Product Line (Persona, Commercial or Specialty Lines)

It is centralizing all agency information in an easily-accessible electronic location. Also it will streamline and simplify the process of agency management and lead to more consistency

The user created in TPAS will be able to login to Liferay Portal and user details can be managed by a separate application called AgentSSP which is integrated with portal.
