ACADEMIC PROJECT(S)

Mini Project: “WATCH DOG ALARM WITH FACE DETECTOR”

The objective is that it senses the intruder and rings the alarm as well as it will take the picture of the intruder through the video camera. The alarm and video camera gets turned off automatically after 30 seconds.

Final Year Project: “AUTOMATIC SEGREGATION OF APPLE BASED ON COLOUR AND DEFECTS”

The objective of this project is to separate the grade of apples based on colour. It is difficult and tedious to separate apples based on grades in food processing industries manually, this will help to segregate automatically. The apples will be sent through the conveyor and IR sensor will detect the apple and stops the conveyor till the camera rotates for 360 degree. Then the camera will rotate 360 degree and capture the full image of the apple and sends the picture to the PC. The MATLAB process the image and it will send the control signal to the controlling valve to separate the apples depending on the grades. Finally apples will be sent to different bins depending on controlling signals sent by PC.
