Ensuring that all engineering work is carried out in accordance with design, specifications, codes & standards, scheduled time, rules, regulations and other requirements particular to the project. With due regards to safety, operability and maintainability.
Duties:
• Close monitoring of project task in order to complete within schedule time.
• Follow up on contractors activities in their discipline and ensure compliance with Project specifications and general specifications.
• Verification of work performed by contractors for payment approval.
• Responsible for overseeing the review, initiation and execution of contracts.
• Managing project budgets and keeping costs down.
• Coordinating with HSE department for implementation of HSE standards, safe working and compliance of PTW system.
• Inspection of NDT performed by contractor for accurate performance of tests.
• Local and oversea Procurement of material along with L/C establishment, Shipping documents verification and Custom clearance.
• Overseeing the maintenance of projects after completion.
• Responsible for the completion of all documentation.
• Producing Test Plans and Progress Reports.
• Prepare contract documentation for services and procurement materials.
• Shutdown activities planning and effective execution as per schedule and controlling of jobs performed.
• Scheduling repair and replacement of machinery parts as per OEM instruction and guidelines through computerized management system.
• Routine Maintenance of rotary and stationary equipment including compressors, power generators, air coolers, motors, pumps, vessels and tanks.
• Close monitoring of inventory items stock and reorder quantities so to avoid any stoppage of equipment due to non-availability of critical spare parts.
