U.S. Army Special Operations
2012-2013 Civil Affairs Team Leader Operation Enduring Freedom
Led Self-Managed Civil Affairs Team in Kunar and Moqur Districts in Afghanistan.
Simultaneous member of a cross functional team that included the Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development, and U.S. Department of Agriculture that worked closely with Afghan government officials to include District Governors and officers.
Analyzed the economic situation of multiple districts in Afghanistan to assess sources of instability and weakness.
Managed and supervised the Kunar Micro-grant program which distributed over $80,000 to 22 Afghan entrepreneurs whose businesses helped stabilize the security and economic situation of Afghanistan.
2006-2011 Civil Affairs Team Sergeant Operation Iraqi Freedom
Identified critical requirements needed by local citizens in combat or crisis situations by acting as a liaison with the U.S. Army or Non-Government Organizations.
Generated the Multi-National Division Baghdad monthly civil military operations report, which analyzed the entire scope of civil reconstruction projects in Baghdad.
Managed a 14 person team in Baghdad who responsible for over $200 million in projects critical to the rebuilding of educational, sewage, water, trash, medical and police services in the city.
Analyzed and reported internally displaced persons returning to Baghdad to higher headquarters. Information was eventually reported to the President of the United States, which showed improvement in the quality of life in Iraq.
2003--2006 Supply Sergeant Operation Iraqi Freedom
Ensured equipment, materials and systems were ready for missions for the entire company of 34 Soldiers.
Maintained accurate bookkeeping records ensuring zero loss of over $4 million worth of equipment during first tour in Iraq (05-06).
Managed international shipping and receiving procedures, ordering thousands of dollars of equipment internationally through GSA Global Supply.
Conducted over 100 civil military operations that ranged from foreign humanitarian aid to rebuilding of essential services and government reconstruction.
