Investment Die Casting for aftermarket and internal Aerospace and land-based engine blades.

Project Manager for $27M expansion. Modified scope for new building and transitioned distribution warehouse for production needs. Included site selections, contract negotiations, timing plans, and execution of 100+ equipment transfers without loss to schedule.

Wrote specifications, RFQ’s, negotiated, sourced, and managed all equipment, sub-contractor, and transport requirements for expansion / relocation project. Approved all invoices related to activities.

Reprocessed metal forming operations into lean, one piece flow layout. Reduced inventory ($7M) and delivery time from 60 to 20 days.

Full responsibility for plant maintenance, support, and preventative measures.

Tier I and II Automotive supplier using Just-In-Time flexible lean manufacturing.

Develop designs for manufacturability for metal stamping and plastic suppliers. Reviewed and integrated metal stamping capabilities and technology expansion to minimize metal dies and overall processes, while ensuring safety applications and handling methods are optimized.

DFSS products, manufacturing process (using FMEA), and capital budget development with fiscal and implementation oversight of installations for 11 manufacturing facilities.

Benchmarked Europe, Canadian, and US plants to formalize standardization of equipment and support systems, including ergonomic and safety features inherent to the production process and supporting areas. Project saved time, increased accuracy, and savings that yielded $500,000 per plant start-up.

Implemented Automated Guided Carts, saving $300,000 per year in labor. Engineered all new technology applications (Automation, Robotics, etc.) to yield savings of $70,000 per application; increased flexibility.

Co-managed continuous improvement projects with Master Six Sigma (Black Belt) Manager.
