Completed dimension documentation and drafting of large residential (over 100; over 10,000 sq. ft. each) and commercial (16 complex apartment buildings) as-builds while training new on-boarding ICs to assure accuracy and continuity of work and product.
Identified need to establish, and implemented, consistent drafting standards between VHT and both international vendors to ensure consistent quality of returned as-built floor plans. Designed custom, in-house drafting icons and standards. Taught new standards to vendors and demonstrated drafting techniques in Visio.
Led an eight-month initiative to expand drafting services with Vietnam vendor to upgrade VHT product from basic to online, photography-interactive floor plans. Responsible for assessing vendor’s ability to meet deliverables.
Responsible for creating, developing, and managing an independent contractor
(IC) work force. Currently managing a staff of 31 ICs, and continually monitor and evaluate program for value, consistency, and quality.
Identified in-house need for faster completion of on-site dimension documentation by ICs. In a two-month period, developed and established new processes, which, while uncommon to the industry, have continually proven to be consistently accurate, streamlined in execution, and maintain quality standards.
