EMPLOYMENT / RECENT
My most resent employment (10/1/2015) was a contract assignment as the project safety manager for a major modification to the plant.
I recently (7 August 2015) completed a 4 month temporary assignment as the Corporate Safety Manager for Acciona Energy North America. Acciona is a multi-national company with global generating facilities.
I worked in the Chicago home office and traveled to sites in the United States and Canada to conduct audits and inspections as well as advise site safety and management on safety issues.
My additional projects included revising corporate policy and procedures to uniformly comply with both Canadian and U.S. statutes, regulations and standards. I also handed daily corporate safety management functions for our North American facilities.
My employment was a temporary 4 month assignment filling in for the corporate manager who was on extended leave of absence.
I have extensive field experience working as a contractor site safety manager and providing safety oversight of contractors for various clients in the power generation industry during construction, major modification and operations.
