-Sustained the eligibility of over 1100 elected officials while providing training on roles
and responsibilities, running effective meetings, monitoring and approving educational
and budgetary plans, evaluating and selecting principals, ethical policies, and
responsibilities and duties of officers that lead Local School Councils.
-Improved the ability of stakeholders to better educate their children at home by
training over 400 low-income parents on effective parent involvement expenditures
and activities under the Federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
-Oversaw and monitored the successful conduction of Illinois' State-mandated Local
School Council Elections and provided training on procedures to school principals and
employees in approximately 150 different schools.

-Introduced hundreds of low-income parents to Illinois Open Meetings Act Law and
the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and responded to matters that ultimately
