• Orchestrate the development and leadership of $1.2 billion in real estate acquisition strategies and purchased to establish and expand the Chesapeake Energy Corporation Headquarters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
• Manage construction efforts of $1.117 billion to build and expand the Oklahoma City headquarters and field offices throughout the US.
• Facilitate commercial and investment real estate business transactions including acquisition, disposition, partnerships, joint ventures, leasing and equity.
• Direct construction and maintenance operations for the Oklahoma City headquarters including a staff of 35 maintenance personnel, maintenance of 42 buildings and approximately 2.1 million square feet of office space over a 120 acre campus.
• Oversee general contractors, sub contractors, electricians, landscapers and paint contractors in the maintenance of the campus of corporate headquarters.
• Develop, implement and evaluate programs and strategies designed to create and maintain safe, functional, secure, clean and orderly facilities to ensure efficient and economical operation.
• Participate in the development of RFPs, bids, contracts and proposals for construction and services; negotiate and administer contracts with outside vendors.
• Facilitate the development and administration of the campus services and construction project budgets; monitor and approve expenditures.
• Prepare and present various reports and other necessary correspondence.
• Serve as primary contact to the internal and external community on capital planning and construction objectives.
