SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE

Jacobs Engineering (April 2014 to August 1, 2015)

Senior Maintenance and Reliability Engineer, Capstone Pinto Valley Mine, Miami Az

I initially performed in-depth assessments for their Maintenance and Reliability programs. As a result of these assessments we were awarded follow on work including further analysis and improvements for plant subjects such as the plant drawing set, the MEL, the maintenance management program, CMMS (SAP), planning and scheduling, Work Order control, Master Schedule, Reliability, criticality analysis, FMEA, maintenance procedures, asset hierarchy, work processes, spares and warehousing, document control and MOC. In addition I led a six man crew in an effort to complete a complete walk down and tagging of the plant equipment drawing set and P&ID’s.

Project Manager and Senior Reliability Engineer- (April 204 to August1, 2015)

I led a “Maintenance Optimization” project at Central Illinois specialty chemical plant that produces nitriles and acids. This project was to improve the plants maintenance and reliability performance with the ultimate goal being to reduce operating costs. I recruited and lead an eight man team of Reliability engineers and specialists for the implementation of RCM and Reliability services including the creation of an MEL, Criticality Analysis, FMEA work, PdM techniques, MRO work, job plans and planner training. One of our goals was to implement TPM practices that better used the plant operators to assist the maintenance routes. We helped this chemical producer better utilize their SAP CMMS module and develop their basic maintenance system tools. Ultimately they were better able to plan and track their maintenance work and issues like downtime and wrench time.

Fluor Corporation, (April 2002 to April 2014)

Senior Reliability Engineer and Project Manager for their Reliability and Operations Readiness Group

Major projects while at Fluor included:

Fluor Corp, Chevron, Houston Texas / TCO, Tengiz, Chevroil, Kazakhstan (August 2013 to April 2014)

I served as Senior Reliability Engineer and Project Coordinator for a six month effort to create RAM models to help Chevron/TCO make critical decisions regarding the purchase of $2B worth of Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) equipment for their “islanded” Kazakhstan operations. The project involved creating and administration of a complex contract with the Client and chief vendor DNV and their London office. The project centered around creating complex RAM models that included GTG performance histories from the Chevron fleet as well as a great deal of other supporting data and considerations. These complex models were created using the DNV Maros and Taro softwares in conjunction with Excel spreadsheets to accurately reflect year round temperature variations. The project culminated in a final report document, along with companion basis document, that consumed nearly 7000 man-hours and the efforts of more than a dozen people. Ultimately this client was able to make informed decisions that had the potential to save tens of millions of dollars.

Fluor Corp, Singapore Liquefied Natural Gas (SLNG), Singapore (June 2011 to Aug 2013)

Originally technical leader and later Project Manager for a large scale Operations Readiness project to assist in the startup of one of the world’s largest merchant LNG re-gas terminals located in Singapore
