Industrial Catalyst Development Technician 1990-1995
•Help built, maintain and modify Activity equipment, included tube cutting and fitting of ferrules, cleaning and rebuilding various flow meters, ordering and tracking all gases and chemicals coming into the Industrial Lab, ordering miscellaneous supplies (tubing (plastic and metal), ferrules, Swagelok fittings, tools, etc.) needed in the Industrial Lab.
•Maintained Gas analyzers including HC, CO, CO2, O2 and NOx.
•Set-up and maintained five GC’s including one GC/MS.
•Preformed work at Customer plant location consisting of the shipping of equipment, securing gas cylinders, setup of equipment, and evaluation of catalyst performance through heat exchanger and regular exhaust stacks.

•Trained in all aspects of the QC lab, which includes XRF/XRD, ICP, Catalyst Activity (the determination of the reactivity of a catalyst preformed over a temperature range using various gas mixtures) tester, Surface Area, and physical testing including the use of calipers and visual inspection of the catalyst.
