Scheduler/ Planner June 2013 – Present

Parsons is undertaking data collection, urban master planning, complete technical design, and full construction supervision of all infrastructure and landscaping for 16 Sites, which range in size from roughly 10 million ft to 110 million ft .plus providing scheduling and reporting for 100+ client Building/Infrastructural other sites

Duties:

Perform and consolidate planning processes for project scheduling, tracking, analysis and reporting, in the required formats using Primavera P6.

Develop and maintain the project plan and schedule in Primavera P6, coordinate schedule changes with the project team and client and running “what-if” scenarios in front of client

Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.

Analyse, evaluate, and forecast current status against an established baseline schedule.

Assess the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.

Prepare accurate and timely project reports using web-based dashboard reports via Oracle BI Publisher, which include progress, schedule achievement, cost performance, cash-flow status, performance analysis, forecasting, risks, manpower, items of concern and proposed corrective actions on a regular basis, in order to assist the client Project Manager in fulfilling project requirements and objectives.

Regular project cost and revenues monitoring.

Initiate analysis of any field problem, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions and verify that these actions obtain the desired results.

Provide supervision and on-job training to clerical and new hire personnel assigned to area of responsibility.

Prepared a scheduling manual to be use for all the client 104 projects.

Standardized all of the program reports (Monthly, Weekly, Daily and Dashboard reports).

Ensure that the project is executed according to guidelines and policies established by the company and local laws.

The project comprises extension building with 3 floors and roofs, in addition to the basement level which accommodates the respective electromechanical services. The Project also includes increasing the outdoor Piazzas and open areas. Bridges will be connecting the existing Building to the new Expansion.

Building Area: 2,690,977.6 ft

Open Area: 3,928,827.3 ft

Duties:

Developing, maintaining and reviewing detailed schedules

monitoring cost and commitment through requisition and invoice review

Ensuring active engagement of team members by delegation of tasks to the appropriate person both on a long term and on a day-to-day basis

Ensuring adherence to recommended best practices such as the critical path method based on PERT.

Coordination and regulating various meetings such as project progress review meetings, quality circles.

application of various project progress methods to ensure the project schedule is on track to meet deadlines or deliverables
