My position here is full time. I manage the office on a daily basis from open to close. When I am not at my home office, I am in Austin, managing 3 additional offices. My duties are front/back office. Generally assisting patients all day and presenting treatment plans. Meeting goals and tasks on a daily basis along with balancing the day, A/R, A/P, Deposits, Reports, Insurance-filing/verification, scheduling, follow up calls, endless customer service, answer phones, ordering supplies, scheduling doctors and staff, ordering supplies, credentialing, marketing…etc…

Office Manager, North Texas Dental Consultants

I started out as a dental assistant. I had little knowledge of what a dental assistant duties were. However, in less than a month, I had it down. I had lots of patient interaction, assisted both oral surgeon and general dentist, x-rays, sterilization, supplies, patient care..etc… After 6 months, I was promoted to front office, where I learned, insurance, scheduling-staff/patients, filing claims/A/R, faxing and all front office duties. Two months later, I was promoted to the management position. There my duties were quite the same. I worked both front and back and maintained the office monthly goals. In 2008, The Company sold to Metroplex Dental, where I currently am.
