I worked for Baker Hughes for 15 years; the first 10 years as Senior Lab Technician with a solid electrical and mechanical background on Wireline tools then, as a Supervisor for a production team and Prototype Transition Center –Wireline and Drilling systems tools for the last 5 years.

BAKER HUGHES OILFIELD OPERATIONS- 15 Years

1-From Feb 2011 to Sep 2015: Prototype Transition Center Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

- Scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, setting priorities and due dates.

- Working with the team and upper management to implement lean Six Sigma concepts in our daily operations by continuously improving the wok flow, floor set up and processes overall.

- Conflict resolutions between team members and reinforcing company policies and code of conduct.

- Keeping records and resolving individual issues related to attendance, safety and quality.

- Making sure that all tasks are done in a flawless manner within a safe and positive work environment.

- Keeping track of the team performance, like efficiency, productivity, Quality and safety

- Coordinating with the planers, buyers and Project Manager on parts issues, forecast and expediting etc..

- Work with Technicians, Assemblers, Manufacturing engineers, Drafters and Tech Writers to implement, review and correct Assembly Procedures, Testing Procedures, BOM’s, Work Orders, Blue prints etc…

- Working with the engineering team to resolve technical problems and follow up/ follow through

- Conducting individual reviews for employees (mid-year and annual reviews)

- Contacting outside vendors to supply lab equipment and special tooling for team needs to perform their daily tasks.

- Conducting self and cross-team Quality, Safety and Shop Floor Management Systems (6’s and Lean Six Sigma) Audits

2- From May 2005 to February 2011: Senior Electromechanical Technician in Houston Technology Center- Houston, Rankin Road

-Assembly, testing and troubleshooting of: Formation Testing Tools (RCI, RCX, Sentinel), Coring tools (RCOR,PCOR, MAXCOR), Mechanical Pipe Cutter

-Training coworkers and new hires

-Review Drawings, Create new procedures for new product lines, correct and update existing procedures.

-Work with ME’s on RCA’s with the Lean team and work closely with Sustaining group on technical issues (design issues, FMN’s and Prototype Tools)

-Safety Monitor from 2008 to 2011: Conducting daily, Monthly and Stand-Out Safety Meetings with team members. I was a member of the HTC Safety Committee.

3- From June 2000 to May 2005:

Senior Electromechanical Field Technician in Wireline division in Hassi Messaoud-Algeria

-Maintenance, Repair and Troubleshooting of Wireline Cased Hole and Open Hole tools (Acoustics, Induction, Casing Inspection, Imager, MRIL etc…)

-Maintenance, Repair and Troubleshooting of Seismic tools
