Description:

Construction of a plastic injection mould with hot spruein order to achieve a mass production of the part named Egg Tray. It is a transparent component composed with Poly Carbonate Material. Basically the mould is a single day light mould consisting of a core pin ejection and a good cooling system.

Aligent Spring Pte Ltd is a manufacturer of precision springs and metal stamping for the mechanical, electrical and electronics industries for both local and overseas customers. The parts are used in products like printers, DVD recorders, circuit breakers, refrigerators & mountain bikes

Position: Tool Maker

Preventive maintenance of progressive dies: Maintenance of progressive dies with proper documentation such as die history card and spare list

New tool trial and proving:Perform die trial activities with documentation of results.

Solving quality issues in production line:Troubleshooting of dies and resolve quality issues during production

Production assisting and documentation:Assisting production in order to analyze the production difficulties, improvementsand documentation.

Root cause analysis:Finding out the root cause of die problems and recommending the best solution.

Solving quality issues in sheet metal components in the production line: quick trouble shooting in production line and solve quality issues of the component by finding root cause

Die Correction Using Hand Skills: fixing the die problems using hand tools like pneumatic grinders and drilling machines and blue machining.

Die steel welding(mainly using TIG,MIG,Arc,):welding of die steels using special purpose electrode to attain a better and long lasting welded surface

Die Buy off from supplier: Taking care of new die buy off activities such as static and dynamic analysis of dies, documentation and final buy off

Production assisting: analysis of dies during production in order to find out the production difficulties and continual improvement

Governing press shop production: supporting production at critical production schedule

Automation of Tools: cost effective Automation of transfer and tandem dies and achieve the maximum production output with a minimum time
