Description: Pension management System a division of the State of Nevada’s Department of Technology, Management and Budget. It serves the working and retired public servants of Nevada. ORS customers totals to 580,000, they are classified and maintained within 4 four systems based on their employment with the state. Each system has its own pattern, schema, and plan and is responsible to compute the pension benefit based on his/her type, structure, membership and various other parameters. This base application has been a standard prototype onto which various other modules are added, modified and re-engineered based on the changes initiated by the state legislation. The application facilitates sliding of the employees between the various agencies of the state and federal government without any loss of the service earned within each agency.
Responsibilities:
Involved in the development of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using agile methodologies.
