Processor used: Atmega8 microcontroller based customized processor. This hexapod uses several gaits and servomotors for its movement on different terrains and it also includes the application of surveillance.

ROLE : Python programming intern.

Project : NON INTRUSIVE APPLIANCE LOAD MONITORING

Contribution :

Python scripting for training the data sequences.

Extraction of features from Real time data obtained every second.

Development of a SDM series Energy meter Logger.

Establishing serial communication between Raspberry pI B+ and Modbus rtu i.e Usb to rs485 converter.

Implementation of Modbus communication protocol to read real time 32 bit data stored in 16 bit registers for upto 27 parameters(volt, amps, watts etc).

Dumping the data accumulated to MongoDb data server.

Creating a python based webserver using BOTTLE to write the configuration file for the logger.

ACTIVITIES/WORKSHOPS:

Actively participated in workshops about matlab and simulink conducted by CRANES software limited.

Organized and participated on a hands on workshop about “HTML-5 and CODING” conducted by Anuj duggal, Google.

Presented a paper titled “Design and maximum reach analysis of a single leg Hexapod system” at the National conference on innovation of communication and computation in KSIT. RESPONSIBILITES:

Was part of the core-committee and coordinated the college annual fest “ANANYA-2015”.

Was the coordinator for the event “VANQUISH’14” held on sept 12th 2014 organized by the department of telecommunication, KSIT.

Worked as an organizer in the science fest “SCIENTIA-2012” organized by the department of basic science and humanities in the first year of engineering.

Representing the college cricket team in the VTU tournaments held annually. Also captained cricket team at school and pre-university level.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Represented the college Quiz team at the 14th VTU fest held at Bapuji institute of technology, Davangere.

Participated and won 4th place in the “GITA QUIZ” organized by ISKON, Bangalore.

Was felicitated for being the subject topper of Mathematics in the 10th std public examination by the school.
