I am seeking a position at the Sr. Construction Manager level with a construction, real estate development or investment firm that acquires, improves and manages high end custom, multi-family, affordable housing, retail and/or commercial properties. As a seasoned professional with two decades of commercial, retail, residential building, property development and construction management experience in the New York City & San Francisco Bay metropolitan areas, I offer a unique set of diverse skills and experience to succeed in a variety of environments. These include all phases of property, asset and facilities management, operational and organizational construction management, construction technologies, materials and methods, site work, ISO Quality Assurance, property development, value engineering, ground up construction and scheduling. Integral to the above, I bring additional skills in financial operations analysis, tax credit administration, contract management, regulations & code compliance, planning and permitting, acquisitions and asset sales, Capex and Opex budgeting, contract negotiations and portfolio positioning.

After my university studies, I completed a rigorous 7 year German guild training program in all facets of carpentry, joinery and building. After which I spent many years actively engaged in the residential, commercial and high rise building industry doing ground up developments. My craft specialty was architectural millwork focusing on the building and restoration of churches, corporate boardrooms, hotel lobbies, hospitality environments and the building of luxury estates. In addition, I have earned a PPM certificate and am completing a CM program from NYU.

Having managed staffs as large as a few hundred employees, my experience is grounded in effective cost controls and productivity management with budgets in excess of twenty million dollars per annum. Along with these capabilities, I can effectively oversee senior housing, hospitality and student housing development and management.

Though living in the San Francisco Bay area, my background, experience and education allow me to consider relocating regionally or nationally should the right opportunity present itself.
