Experience:

November 2012 – Present Albany Medical Center

Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Technologist:

Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease processes by administering radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of a physician.

Dual registry in Radiology permits the use of ionizing radiation in Spect-CT and PET/CT procedures generating more revenue by increasing department productivity.

Established more efficient protocols for the PET-CT machine to eliminate re-occurring image artifacts and to enhance visualization on the larger patients.

Proper technique used when eluting the Tc-99m generator for preparation of pharmaceutical grade kits and the administration of the correct dose designated by the procedure handbook.

Establishing a more prominent relationship with the resident physicians by promoting and attending interdisciplinary events not only in imaging but with cardiology as well.

Proficient in the use of the GE Hawk-eye, Phillips Gemini large bore PET/CT scanner, Seimens E-Cam, Captus Thyroid probe and dose calibrator.

Working knowledge in the use of PACS, HIS/RIS, CR, and the administration of CT contrast media by power injector.
