Lead Tower Technician

Lead tower technician responsible for all work on the tower. Worked with foreman to ensure all crew members had duties and completed them properly and safely. Managing time and tasks to complete the job in the most efficient way possibly. Delegating tasks to crew members and making a project plan

Worked on primary maintenance crew for AT&T Wireless.. Also involved in Sprint and AT&T Wireless 4G LTE upgrade in the east Texas region.

Installation of wireless systems. Reading and understanding customer requests and designs provided for each job. Experience installing cell arrays on communication towers and rooftops. Proper installation of cable tray, cable ladder, antennas, microwave dishes, jumpers, foam coax, air coax, elliptical waveguide, GPS systems, and grounding systems. Knowledge of both communication system maintenance (includes troubleshooting and testing) and hardware maintenance (includes replacement of antennas, cables, jumpers, microwave dishes and bad connectors).

Training and educating crew members. Ensuring all members were up to date with certifications and training. Properly training new members of the crew and ensuring they understand how to use tools and equipment properly and efficiently.
