Project Manager

As a Contractor working with FEMA, I assume responsibility for the coordination and completion of Federal disaster relief projects following the applicable Stafford Act statutes. Lead a team of Public Assistance Specialists in grant writing, documentation and process analysis, as well as backend reconciliation of invoices between municipalities and vendors, in order to ensure funds dispersed were in accordance with the mandated statutes. Leading this process includes every step in the project life-cycle (initiation, planning, execution and closeout), as well as resource management.

On March 1, 2003, the Federal Emergency Management Agency became part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
