WORK EXPERIENCE/ THE BOEING COMPANY

Flight Test Engineer:

Performed testing and validation of on-flight test data for regulatory and company requirements. Worked with ADAMS (Airborne Data Analysis and Monitoring Systems) to perform real-time and post-test monitoring and analysis of flight test data system. Worked as a focal for lab airplane ZA000 supporting testing during interconnects and with other lab systems.

Airplane Zero Work:

This is the far more significant part of my career contribution to the company than anything else. As a integrationist at the Integrated Test Vehicle lab with use of a flight test rack I was capable of doing ‘ground’ tests that minimizes the test of cost and maximizes the test benefit. AS different systems of the airplane systems, for example, environment control systems, RAT, flight control systems are interconnected we get a airplane with a fuselage. It also helps SW testing from different vendors. I have submitted several suggestion in this direction which are about to materialize. I was able to formulate my ideas with the pilots I worked with and executives who passed by and paid visits. I achieved kudos and was praised for this effort profusely.

As a flight test engineer I participated with the integrated product teams and worked to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. I am experienced with different airplane programs and have knowledge to standardize operational matrix, practiced lean Engineering and can integrate test plans. I am familiar with the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) certification process.

Embedded Systems Engineer

Provided technical management expertise for a Chairman's Initiative project.

Worked on a Design and Build team for anemometry data acquisition, and prepared a Requirements and Concepts Document.

Participated on a team to develop IEEE P1451.3 standard (Smart Sensor Technology Project), working mainly on transducers electronic data sheets, XML and Binary XML. Provided CAD and WCAD (Wiring CAD) support.

Architect:

System architect for Publishing Interface Systems, evaluated Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) standards, compared with ATA 2100, built a prototype showing reuse of SGML and implemented hypertext software for dynamically indexing Boeing Service Bulletins.

Visiting Professor of Electrical Engineering, Boeing loaned executive:

Visiting professor at Henry Cogswell College, Kirkland, WA

Taught Calculus II & III, Linear algebra, Differential equations, Electrical power systems,

Microprocessor systems, Microprocessor development systems, Engineering-in-training (electrical portion), Introduction to Engineering design, Senior Design II, Physics laboratory, Neural Networks, Theory of Computation, Structured Computer Organization.

Neural Network and AI Specialist, Software Engineer, Programmer.

My thesis work includes neural network applications, clustering algorithms and familiarity with statistical methods. Research and development work in expert systems, model-based reasoning methods and machine learning.

Developed and supported structures and wind tunnel programs and wind tunnel tests.

AFFILIATIONS:

Member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers) and AIAA, I am a member of the board of directors for Henry Cogswell College Alumni Association and Chaya, a non profit organization for South Asian Women in Crisis.

Life member of Society of Flight Test Engineers (SFTE).

Member of the Society of Women Engineers.

Work for ‘Water Issues’ especially in India, write and alert for dams and fresh water usages.
