Work Experience:-

Working as Mechanical Engineer (Heat transfer Department in SHELL P&T) in SHELL INDIA MARKETS PRIVATE LIMITED through KKK, from 16 Aug, 2013 on a unit known as FAME (Fouling Analysis and Mitigation in Exchangers) till date.

Unit Description: FAME was designed with the objective of testing actual heat exchanger tubes, operating at field conditions, to measure fouling and to quantify benefits of mitigation techniques such as coatings, inserts, and vibration by using different type’s Crude oil.

Key responsibilities:-

I.Maintenance & Hands on experience in Troubleshooting of equipment, relevant to FAME unit (Pumps, Pressure vessels, Air-coolers, Chillers, Heaters and Detectors etc.)

II.Operation and Process of FAME unit using DCS and SIS system.

III.Monitoring of fouling mitigations techniques inside Heat exchangers

IV.Different types of Crude oil analysis (Murban, AHS, WCS, and Cold Lake Etc)

V.Analysis Report and coordination with remote team.

VI.Raise request for spare list required for smooth functioning of FAME.

VII.JHA (Job hazard analysis) prepared for FAME unit as part of HSE requirement.

VIII.Mechanical Appraisal of FAME unit and other process unit present at Shell.

IX.Under gone safety trainings as part of HSE requirement for all high risk jobs at Shell.

X.Behaviour based safety (BBS) Lead co-ordinator in Shell.

XI.Leading the Safety Critical Equipment’s maintenance team in the site.

Successfully completed a project titled “DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF HIGH SPEED PNEUMATIC HACK SAW MACHINE”.

Description: A PNEUMATIC HACKSAW OR AIR TOOL is a tool driven by a gas, usually compressed air supplied by compressor. Pneumatic tools can also be driven by compressed gas stored in small cylinders allowing for portability. Pneumatic tools are commonly cheaper and safer to run and maintain than their electric power tool counterparts, as well as having a higher power-to-weight ratio, allowing a smaller, lighter tool to accomplish the same task.

Flow represents the quantity of compressed air that passes through a section over a unit of time. It is represented in l/min, m3, at the equivalent value in free air in conditions of standard reference atmosphere (SRA).
