Manufacturing Engineer: Responsible to the Engineering Manager for the design, build, and installation of automated tooling and equipment for a medical device manufacture. Pro-E was utilize for the design.
Designed and built automated laser benches to weld, cut, and mark (barcodes).
* Purchase, design tooling and install resistance welders to spot-weld titanium.
* Managed the design and build of Electro chemical process benches
* Validating all equipment with written specifications, test plans, test reports, and standard operating procedures.
* Led team in a cost reduction Greenbelt project
* Led team in a Lean Plant Floor Layout project.

A provider of consulting services to design and build capital equipment for clients such as Torrington, Caterpillar, and St. Jude Medical.
Project Engineer: Responsible to the Engineering Manager for the design, build, and installation of automated equipment. Utilized AutoCAD 14.
* Designed 4 to 16 position rotary dial bearing assembly machines with Camco indexers, pneumatic pick and places with grippers and vacuum cups, camera vision systems, Intelligent actuator SCARE robots, and Motoman 6-axis robots, Flexlink and Dorner conveyer systems. This equipment was designed for 2-3 second cycle times to assemble thrust bearings. Value of equipment sold was in excess of $6,000,000.

Responsible to the Engineering Manager for
the design of a robotic work station to assemble plastic gears on a motor
casing. This design included 6 miniature gear escapements, multifunctional end
of arm tooling, a Seiko RT3200 high performance precision robot and six bowl
feeders. AutoCAD R11.
