While working as Public Information Officer for the City Government of Manila and being part of the speechwriters’ staff of the mayor of Manila, I also wrote as news correspondent for The Daily Globe newspaper, and contributed articles as writer for Manila Bulletin, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Star, Woman Today Magazine, among others. In 1995, I worked as news reporter for The Evening Paper until 1997. By 1998, I was news writer for ABC5 (TV5) Broadcasting Company’s News and Public Affairs Department. Since 1999, I wrote press releases and conceptualized media and publicity campaigns for company clients as Writer/ Journalist/ PR Practitioner for my previous business Powerhaus Media Professionals The said published press releases were published in Manila Bulletin, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Star, among others.

Powerhaus Media Professionals, since 1999 until 2015, is seasoned veteran in the publicity and media services industry, with more than a decade of being instrumental in the growth of small and medium-scale corporate groups. I fulfilled my job obligations by meeting clients, doing sales pitches and explaining how my public relations consultancy and media publicity services can promote their company products and services via media. I am also instrumental in closing deals for signed contracts, for media campaign projects for company clients.

For The Manila Futurists Society’s seminar-events, I hosted the said event seminars for campus audiences, wherein we discuss futurist topics on 21st century science and technology. Being moderator of the seminar-events and the online discussions, I was responsible for approving posts for the online discussions and also pitching my own posts, and moderating the whole discussion in our events. During the event productions, I did emceeing and was responsible for the success of each of our seminar-events. Moreover, I also made decisions on what topics will be discussed for our monthly events, inviting guest speakers, coordinating with university venues for our seminar campus tours, and also over-all director of our university event productions. Our initial major sponsor for our events was Korns Associates, a Las Vegas-based company owned by Las Vegas futurist-scientists Michael Korns and Gilda Cabral -- who were also the founders of The Manila Futurists Society.

As news writer for TV5, I wrote English and Filipino news scripts for the newscasters for the news programs of the said TV station. I also conducted interviews with politicians and relevant interviewees, and further conducted man-on-the-street interviews related to current news and events -- which were also aired in the news programs, as well as the public affairs TV programs.

As news correspondent and staff reporter for The Evening Paper, I did interviews for politicians, celebrities, news personalities, and wrote current news and events. I attended press conferences, also did on-the-spot interviews with man-on-the-street interviewees for my public forum articles.

As columnist for Woman’s Home Companion Magazine, I wrote articles featuring up-and-coming models, budding celebrities, student leaders, among others.
