Work Experience

Directional Driller Sundrill Energy Present

As a directional driller for Sundrill Energy all of our work has been in Glasscock Co, TX. This is located

in the heart of the Permian Basin. So far all of the work we have done has been one man vertical control

wells from surface to TD's of 6,900' to 9,900'.

Directional Driller – DDS – August 2013 – February 2015

Being a directional driller I have many responsibilities. I maintain an efficient list of all directional

tools, compute and execute survey information, manage the well bore path, maintain records of all

data and prepare all required documentation for the client. While working for DDS I have drilled

wells in the Granite Wash, Marmaton, Cherokee Lime, and Barnett Shale, and Cottage Grove

formations. All the curves drilled have contained a tangent. In the Marmaton formation I was a part

of an extended lateral with KOP at 5,885’ and TD at 16,365’.

Driller – Unit Drilling – January 2010 – August 2013

As a driller I managed a five man crew. I operated all the equipment required to drill an oil/gas well as

efficiently as possible while maintaining the safety of everyone on location. The wells drilled for Unit

Petroleum in the Marmaton formation have all been directional wells. Here we drilled extended reach

and anti collision wells as well as cement plug and open hole kick off. These lateral wells had a kick off

point of 5,700’ 6,200’ and TDs of 11,200’. The 4 extended lateral wells we successfully drilled had a kick

off point of 5,900’ and TDs of 16,190’. All of these wells require an extensive mud program which must

be followed in order to prevent lost circulation and/or stuck pipe

Driller – Helmeric and Payne Drilling – October 2007 – March 2009

For H&P contracted to Devon Energy we drilled well in the Barnett Shale and Grant Sand formations. I

got experience in multi well pads and whip stock kick offs. While at H&P we set drilling records for time

and accomplished a two year mark of no lost time accidents. T lateral wells we successfully drilled in the

Barnett Shale had a kick off point of 6,000’ and TDs of 10,000’ 11,000’. This area used extensive mud

program in which during drilling operations we had to displace the entire mud system to dispersed mud.

Driller – Grey Wolf Drilling January 2005 – October 2007

While working for Grey Wolf Drilling we were contracted to XTO Energy and drilled wells in couple of

different formations. We drilled anti collision wells in the Barnett shale where w set and kicked off of a

number of whip stocks and cement plugs. We also moved to the Ea Texas division of XTO and drilled

wells in the Haynesville Shale. . The majority of wells drilled for XTO in the Fort Worth area started by

drilling surface hole with air and then switching over to a water based dispersed mud.
