Customers can order for required services, track order status and maintain their account through the online service tools we provide.
Project: Phoenix New Connect Experience Re-design
Description: Consumer ordering part of verizon.com portal has been re-designed with responsive web pages to align on tablets and desktops. It is built on mobile platform with pretty controls, scroll and swipe plugin embedded for rich customer experience on tablets. Ordering involves inputs from several back-end legacy systems with huge latencies. New pages were built with task parallel library to overcome latencies providing best response times. This redesign increased close rate by 2-3 percent increasing order volumes.

Project: Verizon Consumer Mobile Ordering
Description: Verizon.com consumer services ordering is designed and developed for smart phones from scratch. With jQuery plugins for mobile UI, HTML5 & CSS3 mobile screens are developed for consumer fiber services ordering. This new channel additionally received 200+ orders and it provides better customer experience.
Duration: October 2012 to December 2012
Roles & Responsibilities:-
Designed and developed pre-ordering logics - address validation, service qualification, shop services, checkout with billing and terms acceptance.
Lead the team on design and technical front for delivering the application on time.
Continuously evaluating new technologies and improving the application performance – introduced parallel programming – Task parallel library – to overcome legacy systems latency and providing quick response times.
Project: Verizon Small Business Ordering
Description: Small & Medium business customers ordering web application is re-designed and enhanced to handle ordering of more than one voice line with better page response times. Application is modified to capture more voice line and calling feature of each line and bundling with broadband & TV services. Ordering web pages are optimized to process response faster.
Duration: February 2011 to March 2012
Role & Responsibility: -
Handling the initiative to improve the application response time and to make application in terms of error handling.
As a fresher, learned various technologies used in the application and implemented various layouts and ensure smooth customer transactional experience.
