EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Whitesell Formed Components – 5331 Dixie Hwy, Waterford, MI

**-**-** – 05-08-15 Installation Specialist

Whitesell manufactures both clinch and pierce fasteners. They are a total service fastening systems company. I worked very close with our sales department and customers to be familiar with the systems from conception. I also worked with our prototype department in order to know the proper installation of the fastener. I wanted to be a contact point for all new customers if they had any questions.

I worked very closely with the tool and die shops as the customers dies were being built to insure our tooling was installed correctly and proper shut height was maintained. I would verify the installation of the fasteners and the performance of the fastener.

I also trained the customer and their operators with our systems. I would supply the customer with a spare parts list so if something was needed they could order it or at least know what it is and be able to work with me over the phone. This would allow the customer to purchase spares of any critical parts to reduce down time. I was always present during customer startups to insure proper operation of our systems.

IDEAL SETECH, STS, RDC – 1055 Packard Drive, Howell, MI

10-10-06 to 05-01-13: Managed Services Engineer

I work with all GM stamping and assembly plants in the US, Canada, and Mexico to determine what quantities of tooling details and spare parts should be held in our facility as well as theirs, to keep their run time up to a maximum. I also work with the plant engineers to determine wear values and tooling life. I work very closely with machine repair and engineers at the assembly plants to supply spare parts as needed to keep the lines up and running. I also monitor all plant’s inventory quantities and bring access items to our facility to use in our “Share the Spare” program in order to save cost for General Motors. I alone supplied over $2m in cost savings in October and November of 2009 to General Motors for materials for the startup of the Volt Battery assembly plant in Brownstown, Michigan.

Ideal Setech is a central warehousing operation for General Motors stamping and assembly plants and other large companies. We receive their MRO material at our RDC location along with slow moving spare parts at our STS location. I then determine how many plants use these parts in order to set our min/max quantities. Each part is entered in our computer system that all GM plants have access to and where parts can be ordered right from the plant floor.

I also determine if the parts are in need of repair and locate a qualified repair shop. We handle all shipping and tracking of product being sent to the plants or to and from repair facilities.

QUAKER CHEMICAL CORPORATION – 30150 Telegraph Road, Bingham Farms, MI

5-8-06 to 10-10-06: Senior Inventory Control Planner

Quaker Chemical is a contracted chemical manager. I was assigned to two Chrysler DCX plants - Warren Stamping Plant (WSP) and Sterling Stamping Plant (SSP). I had control of all oil and chemical inventory for both plants. I was also responsible for all of their bulk oils, which consists of four ten thousand gallon tanks at each plant. These tanks hold the very high use oils for the stamping operations (up to one hundred and fifty gallons/day). I was also responsible for all crib held chemicals, such as Loctite, tapping and cutting fluid, floor cleaners, waxes, janitorial supplies, etc. WSP has three different supply cribs and SSP has four. I needed to obtain Chrysler release numbers daily from the materials manager and request release numbers for items that are not in their WWT system before I was able to issue a purchase order and order the product. I was also in charge of oil house layout projects to simplify daily inventory counting.
