As the Software Quality Assurance Manager I oversee the testing and quality control aspects of the product development life cycle. Work closely with the development and project management teams to assist in developing business rules, workflow and process improvements within the organization. Identify key performance indicators and implement policy and procedures, which ensure only high quality products are delivered for our software applications by meeting the above methods. Facilitated train and mentored employees to ensure that the federal guidelines for healthcare are observed during the testing process. Participate as a core team member to plan and execute a software quality strategy for each release. Drive the team to excel and understanding the detailed business rules of the applications. Applications are currently developed in C++, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, and Groovy.
Incorporate the quality assurance team into the organization. Implemented test plans, workflow and procedures to ensure quality for each release. Result: Alpine Technology Group is now able to be agile and adhere to the client’s needs in a more dynamic manner.

Lead Performance/Load Tester November 2009 to August 2011

Created, implemented and managed automated load and performance testing for multiple divisions within the organization utilizing Rational Functional Tester and Rational Performance Tester. Coordinated and managed load testing schedules based on project timelines. Work closely with development to assist in identifying possible resolutions to degraded application performance. Lead day-to-day operations of four quality assurance engineers in agile development environment. Perform variations of testing strategies (White, Grey, and Black box) on applications that administer merchant payments, child support payments, and HealthCare payments. Applications were developed in .Net, HTML, XML connecting to MSSQL database.
Performed various load performance tests for PA DirectFile application. Results: The team developed a new environment that allowed clients to process 130,000 claims within a one-week timeframe without any incidents.
