Relevant Experience

1966 to 1970 - Joyce Western Corp. Duties: Helping welders, cleaning bevels, preheat, lineup & space pipe for welding. Visual inspection on completed weld for any defects.

1970 to 1976 - Heck Const. Duties; Foreman / Welder, Set up daily duties for a crew of 20 men, including ; welders, equipment operators, laborers, sandblaster, painters, performed all QC on project from 1970 to 1973. From 1973 to 1976, Welded distribution lines. Fabricated regulator Stations, Meter sets, did some emergency underwater welding on leaks in river.

1976 to 2000 Self employed as A@R Welding, ; Subcontractor : Employed from 10 to 20 people. Subcontracted welding for numerous pipeline Contractors and Gas Companies: Listed, PGE. Sun Oil, Niarga Mohawk, Penn fuel, UGI, Krieger Const, Strouse Brothers, Heck Const:

2000 to present: CWI for Transco/ Williams; Duties: Test, qualify welders as per API1104 & ASME, Section IX. To oversee welders, journeymen & helpers follow the proper procedure; Including, clean welding surface, bevel, alignment, preheat, proper electrodes, atmosphere, good housekeeping, and most important safe working conditions. Visual inspection of weld after each pass, & on completion of weld for any defects, including porosity, arc burns, external undercut, poor workmanship. Keep daily records of work performed
