Worked as FDC. This employs figuring data to give cannon crews on how to point and load their weapons by using algebra and geometry. Other duties included cleaning and maintaining weapons, radio equipment, and tracked vehicles. It was in the service that I began to understand the importance of working as a team and building trustworthy work ethics. Each team member relies on the others to do their job on time, quickly, expertly. These ethics have carried over to my civilian life so that I am proud of my attendance records -- at Lucent I had perfect attendance in 7 of my first eight years and 12 o of my 17. Seldom missed unauthorized time at Circor. Also learned a little of setting up training classes, and giving classes. This was helped by my college training -minoring in education .While in the military, stationed in S. Korea, I met my wife of 38 years. We have had 2 children, both living productive lives on their own now. My marriage and children are my proudest accomplishments! Apr. 1975 to Apr. 1979
