Manufacturing System Engineering Project FALL 2013
The objective of this project was to distribute total workload on the assembly line of 101 elements as evenly as possible among the workers.
Experiment was done based on largest candidate rule for the line balancing.
Stations were calculated based on time taken for each element and total time available at that station.
Prepared a precedence chart and displayed physical sequence of the station with assigned work elements.
Line balancing efficiency was determined as 89.6% considering all loses and total number of stations to be 40.
System Engineering Analysis and Mgmt. Commuter electric vehicle system SPRING 2013
The purpose of this project CEVS, was to outline the academic exercise, which was intended as the conceptual foundation for the design of an electric vehicle. Worked as equal member in eight person team.
Designed a car with range of 200 miles per charge, 4 passenger, economic and fulfilling needs of U.S roads systems and regulations considering system engineering.
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint were used extensively for synthesizing the reports of all team members.
Final Design was presented concluding all scope of project to be fulfilled.
Project Management: Designing Videos for education purpose. SPRING 2014
Project Scope, Stake Holders, Vision and Team were decided.
Network Schedule Gantt chart was prepared and Microsoft project and power point were used extensively.
Resources, Business case, and deliverable were mentioned.
Project was coordinated by Dr. John H. van Blargan and deliverables were decided by him as a stake holder.
Risk analysis was calculated and final report with future scope was presented in front of stake holders, students and professor of Cleveland State University.
Engineering Statistics: Hypothesis Testing FALL 2013
The main objective of the project was to conclude if average tuition fees for Graduate studies of US universities exceed $ 9000 annually including in state and international students.
Data were collected, organized and analyzed from American.edu website for last 5 years and chat and graphs were prepared for presentations.
Z Test and Annova were done on the data collected considering all factors regarding the fees.
Hypothesis were made on tuition fees not exceeds the average amount.
Minitab and Excel were used for displaying the graphs and calculations for the test above mentioned.
